Changes to Swimming and Water Running Training Sessions

We have some important updates regarding our training sessions due to the temporary closure of the Civic Pool in Canberra. To ensure that our training continues smoothly, we’ve made some adjustments to our schedule and locations.

New Training Venues

While the Civic Pool undergoes renovations (Monday 26th August to Friday 25 October), a water running and separate swim session will be held at the Stromlo Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoons. Additionally, our Monday night sessions will continue at the Canberra Girls Grammar School Pool.

Updated Training Schedule

  • Water Running: Join us every Saturday afternoon at Stromlo Leisure Centre (3-4PM). Water running is a fantastic way to build strength and endurance while minimizing impact on your joints. It’s perfect for recovery and injury prevention.
  • Swim Training: Our swim sessions will also take place on Saturday afternoons at Stromlo Leisure Centre (3-4PM). Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or just starting, our coaches are here to help you improve your technique and boost your confidence in the water.
  • Monday Night Sessions: We will continue our swim and water running training every Monday night at 7:30 PM at the Canberra Girls Grammar School Pool. This session is a great opportunity to maintain consistency in your training routine.
