As the holiday season unfolds, we have a mix of activities and a brief pause on some of our regular training sessions. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening and what’s on hold during the Christmas break.

Cycling πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈ

  • Coached Sessions:
    • Wednesday: Finished, resumes on 15th January 2025.
    • Friday: Finished, resumes on 10th January 2025.
  • Uncoached Rides: Continue on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. However, it’s best to check our Facebook members’ page to see who is riding.

Swimming πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

  • CGGS Sessions:
    • Mondays: Finished, resumes on 6th January 2025.
  • Stromlo Sessions:
    • Thursday: Finished, resumes on 6th February 2025.
    • Saturday: Finished, resumes on 18th January 2025.
  • Lake Swims: Will continue depending on lake testing results. Keep an eye on our Facebook members’ page for updates on who is going.

Running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

  • Coached Sessions:
    • Tuesday: Finished, resumes on 4th February 2025. There might be runners on 24th December, but it won’t be a coached session. Warm-up and technique sessions officially resume at the original time, 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
  • Uncoached Runs:
    • Thursdays: Will continue throughout the break.
    • Saturdays: Check the calendar for uncoached run locations.

Water Running

  • Canberra Olympic Pool:
    • Monday: 6:00 AM sessions finished, resumes on 20th January 2025.
    • Wednesday: 6:00 AM sessions finished, resumes on 22nd January 2025.
  • CGGS Sessions:
    • Monday: 7:30 PM sessions finished, resumes on 20th January 2025.
